Vacation?

Once again my son and I are on our yearly 4+ week trek to my parent's house roughly called a vacation. My parents, GOD bless'em, live within sight of nowhere but not quite in the middle of it. I would love to put all my favorite people in this journal, like the last, but I just don't think I have enough years left to do it so I just have to say you all know who you are and how highly I think of you.
I haven't had the opportunity to look at anything lately and since the computer in our room is a bit antiquated I'm not going to be anytime soon. I just do NOT have the patience for it. I will be trying to check my messages and notes.
Looking on the positive of this, I can't spend all my time looking at art instead of writing. The negative, I can't work on learning anything with MY art programs.
So here I am working on some stories in between taking care of my son and visiting with my family. :juggle: (My mom IS cooking my son's dinner while I write this journal entry. :granny: Thanks to my mommy! :thanks:)

I am really not sure what to write. I don't imagine anyone is really interested in learning about me, but I will write a few things. I am a stay at home mom of an 9 yr old little boy who has Autism.
My son is a wonderful child and is doing well in school. We have the same birthday and we got to come home on Mothers Day. He was my gift then and I was and still am thrilled...okay most of the time anyway. We have our days.;)
I do a little writing,but nothing all that great. I know next to nothing about how to work my photo manipulation programs, but I am trying to learn. They were gifts passed down to me from a talented sibling. I am storing up stock and stock sites so I will have some art to work on and learn on. I am also storing up tutorials. I want to learn everything I can. I will get it eventually (I hope :)). I love to learn anything new.
I would like to make some friends on here if possible. I don't have any friends in the real world, much by choice I suppose at this point. I have never been the popular girl and learned to adjust to being alone quickly. There are times though now that alone actually gets to be lonely. I am easy to talk to and I am a good listener. My family says that I am "the diplomat" of the family. Sometimes I even have good advice.;) I try my best to do the right things in life and treat people better then I would expect to be treated. I am a realist. I guess that is about all I have to say about me. I am a very ordinary person. Not great at anything but good at some things. Well, that is enough rambling on. Obviously one thing I am good at is talking...lol. Again,I can't imagine anyone wanting to read all this, but if you do, if you are interested, thank you.

  • Favourite style of art: Abstract,dark, fantasy ...all kinds really.I know what I like when I see it.

  • MP3 player of choice: Sansa Fuze
  • Shell of choice: I dunno ...tell what a shell is and I will tell you what I like.
  • Wallpaper of choice: Abstract or anything different. It has to speak to me in some way. No movie or game wallpapers.
  • Skin of choice: The one I am in I guess.
  • Favourite game: Both Fables,Both Gears of War, Quake, Mass Effect,Both KOTRs,Oblivion...you get the idea.

Thanks your self and welcome. I appreciate the offer and may take you up on that. We just got back from holiday with my family (thanks to everything holy) and I survived so finally after settling in a bit I hope to get back to focusing on what I have just recently found I love. I know what you are thinking and tho young men have their charms, many, ;) it would be the art.

Hi back. You are very welcome. Your thanks just happened to come in when my son and myself were apparently in what is the only part of the world left with no internet( my mom SAYS there is but I never could find it)visiting with my parents for the summer holiday months in the states. I have only been back a few day and just happened to remember one of the pictures that struck me the most at the time I added you. As yet I am still fighting with my photoshop but I DO plan to win one day. I will be sure to give you credit and send it to you. I would love you to see it. Your eyes are so intense and powerful.I like eyes though..lol. Anyway, sorry it took so long. It won't happen again..well maybe NEXT summer. :depressed:

hehe, don't worry about it, i've been having major problems with our PC and interenert the last four or so months, (hence the lateness of my reply, so sorry about that).

i'm glad you like my stock, and i'll keep my fingers crossed for you to win the battle over photoshop, it's something i'm very very slowly learning to do to, can't wait to see what you do with the stock:D

I will be adding more stock within the next couple of weeks, now that i have a computer again, so hopefully you'll like them too.
